Hey BB's...it's been a while. I felt like I hadn't Blogged for a couple of years....turns out....2016. *Falls backwards in a Victorian Swoon*...anyway....
I've been doing the usual drawing and occasionally working with friends on design projects. I've really been crushing on Fashion Illustration and working on THAT between just keeping my hand moving in the sketchbooks. As usual, I have an excellent article to share with you!....this one's about Fashion Illustration. Now before you roll off this page, remember that any art form using human hands can be inserted instead of fashion illustration. Here's a quote from the article: "Social media is now giving a voice to fashion illustration that didn’t exist before, and a contemporary comeback is in the making...."...this is so exciting!!! In the time of Covid, fashion has been turning back to illustration. Italian Vogue filled an entire issue with nothing but illustration. I have a LOT more to tell you....my take on the way that the scrap booking/visual journaling World has responded to the Black Lives Matters movement, books to check out and all kinds of cool and random stuff.
